This week, we pay tribute to the men and women who made other men and women more famous while standing at the back. Some of them went on to fame and fortune of their own. from the legendary Shadows, heard here accompanying Sir Cliff on "In the country," to the less well know Rockets, who would later become Neil Young's Crazy Horse and the even more obscure and woefully named Ronno, aka The Spiders From Mars.

This week, we listen to 55 minutes of collaborations, duos and man-and-wife acts. We begin with an infamous team formed by the monstrous Ike Turner and the incredible Tina singing "I don't believe W You Say." Then we have a few interesting collaborations - John Cale with Terry Riley and Brian Eno as well as Jimmy Tenor and Tony Allen. Last but not least, the finest duo of them all, Nancy and Lee.
